We were actually in the process of brainstorming ideas for an April Fools video when we happened across a technical deep dive on the new for 2026 Stellantis Hurricane 4 as found in the current year Jeep Grand Cherokee.
It seems that they did all the hard work for us!
This engine features every single envelope pushing technology available today in a 326 horsepower 2.0 liter package.
High compression, variable turbo, Miller cycle valve timing, four valves per cylinder, spray on bore surfaces, two complete separate fuel systems with both Port and Direct injection, and the icing on the cake, their version of the legendary Honda CVCC stratospheric combustion chamber but with a unique twist and housed in a copper cup.
What could possibly go wrong out in the real world with this thing???
