Aesthetics are crucial to any successful design, says product design innovator and inventor Deborah Adler. "Equally as important is the functionality and the usefulness” of the product.

Adler demonstrates how she gave the old orange prescription bottle its first makeover in more than 50 years to create the new Clear Rx packaging system. See how she developed her revolutionary product design, which started as a prototype for her master's thesis at SVA and today can be seen at the MOMA.
