This Video is about Design and fabrication of Hand Injection Molding Machine . This is project For B.E. mechanical students .

Injection molding Is the process of forcing melted plastic in to a mold cavity .Once the plastic has cooled, the part can be ejected.

The injection-moulding process is best suited for producing articles made of thermoplastic materials.

Cylinder is It is made up of mild steel. It is having throughout round on one side of cylinder means on top of cylinder by threading. On the lower part of the cylinder a nozzle is fitted.

Working of Machine :
At the beginning of which the plunger at upward position of feed hopper, and the RAW MATERIALS of the molding compound are free to drop into the feed cylinder. The injection stroke start as the plunge moves from upward to downward forcing the RAW MATERIAL into the heating cylinder, this moulten material is pushed inside the nozzle via barrel . further this molten plastic is pushed in the dies assembly to form required shape .
