The "Design 100 Somethings" Project is simple, but powerful: Pick a subject and design 100 different versions of it.
In e003 I talked about 4 things every aspiring artist should be doing to get better. One of those things is taking on a personal project.
The main thing to remember is your project is about getting better by finishing something...anything.
If you’re spinning your creative wheels I would suggest doing something like the Design 100 Somethings Project. It’s easy to start, it’s challenging, and the best part is: it’s finshable.
The Design 100 Somethings project is about pushing through your own imagination barriers. It is not about speed, but about creative mileage. You want to cover a lot of design ground and push through creative walls to reach places you never would’ve imagined when you started.
