❒ ┈ It was rather late to be talking at this time. In a dark alley, no less. Of course, that’s where Ling and Kazume found themselves.
A night out, Kazume somehow convincing the stoic Ling to go out drinking with him. They’d hardly gotten tipsy when Ling decided he didn’t want to continue, telling Kazume he was leaving. The other man gladly stood with him, following him out of the bar and into the alley.
There was no particular reason why they went there. Perhaps to get away from the crowds of drunks outside. Yes, that was it.
But amidst those too wasted to acknowledge Ling or Kazume’s quiet existence, two men stood out. Two men that caused Ling to stare, wide eyed. Kazume was simply perplexed, peering over the men as they walked before averting his gaze back to Ling.
“Did you know them, Ling?”
“..No.”
