Community fireworks will take place on Sunday, June 28, at Oakton College in Des Plaines. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to watch the fireworks extravaganza among your neighbors to celebrate the holiday! Gates open at 7 p.m. and the fireworks show begins at dusk (approximately 9:15 p.m.).
The Des Plaines Parade is a beloved tradition includes community floats, live music and strolling entertainment. The parade is a great way to enjoy the holiday with neighbors and is fun for the whole family. We are eager to celebrate with you all! The parade will step off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, at the intersection of Center Street and Wicke Avenue.
