"'Archangels' deals with the final battle between Satan and the other fallen angels on the one hand, and God and his angels on the other, which the Bible calls Armageddon. It states that we as humans do not fight against flesh and blood, but against spiritual, dark forces.
However, the song also makes it unmistakably clear that victory over Satan and death was long ago won by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, on the cross at Calvary, and that evil has thus long been defeated.
