TV news anchor Dermot Murnaghan has died aged 68 after he was given a diagnosis of late-stage prostate cancer last year.

In this 1998 interview, he probes then-cabinet minister Peter Mandelson over failing to declare an interest-free loan of almost £400,000 from cabinet colleague Geoffrey Robinson in a mortgage application.

Consequently, Peter Mandelson resigned the next day and Murnaghan went on to win the Royal Television Society award for best interview of 1998.
