...Is my genuine passion for home arcade and my awareness of the obvious a reason to be talked down to?
Why would I need to sleep with companies and turn on superchats and memberships to be respected in this community? There is ZERO reason I need to put myself in financial danger (and MENTAL) just to get free products and respect from a niche community and its content creators, I just want to make cool shit for home arcades because I enjoy creating fun things. I'm a younger person but even an idiot like me can straight up sense the bullshit coming out of peoples mouths, the majority of the audience are double my age and they still fall for this scam???
