Volusia, Seminole County Fire, as well as, USFS resources were deployed to try to contain an approximately 150 acre wildfire that started from hot spots from last weeks 600 acre fire. It was 25% at approximately 5:00 pm when it broke containment and made its way up to the eastern edge of Pell Rd in Osteen. With water resources being scarce water tankers and helicopters picking up water from nearby ponds to suppress hot spots have been utilized.
Fire crews will continue to control burn within lines USFS crews are cutting with bull dozers. Residents should expect more fire and smoke as crews continue to work. Residents are being told visibility is going to be very poor overnight. This is a developing story.

Which states in part in : 112.311 (3) "It is likewise essential that the people be free to seek redress of their grievances and express their opinions to all government officials on current issues and past or pending legislative and executive actions at every level of government. In order to preserve and maintain the integrity of the governmental process, it is necessary that the identity, expenditures, and activities of those persons who regularly engage in efforts to persuade public officials to take specific actions, either by direct communication with such officials or by solicitation of others to engage in such efforts, be regularly disclosed to the people."
