I've always loved the frenetic energy of this song, and such a brilliant opener for an album that first introduced me to DM and was the gateway to solidifying my love of synth music and the new wave genre in general. There's almost a feeling of psychotic claustrophobia, a need to scream from within to feel alive, to escape the tedium of the workaday subsistence and then a sudden cutoff, like jolting awake from a fever dream.
