Denny Hamlin says the new Daytona rules package was a step in the right direction for giving back driver options in the pack.

Hamlin also ran much of this race without a rearview camera, saying he had to train his brain to not rely on the clear picture no longer there.

Hamlin also addressed some fans giving him a makeshift regular season champion trophy before the race. The 11 was a fitting 11th in Daytona and is now the top seed.
