Denise is an advanced nurse practitioner and trauma coordinator at the East of Scotland Major Trauma Centre in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. Denise shares 5 things she wished she knew about her role before she started.
Denise's role is the only one that has given her such a wide range of experiences and professional development. It’s unique and holds her attention because there is always something new to learn. It has also evolved over the last 6 years and is very different from the job she started doing.
Denise is based in the major trauma ward, but I support the treatment and care of patients throughout the hospital who need my input.
