The hate towards Persona 3 Reload to the point of recommending FES over it is something that I don't think I'll ever understand.

People really just say their opinions like this so confidently. You wouldn't know trash until you experience them.

And now, you're in denial. It's one thing to confidently say that Reload is trash. It's another thing to be in denial that people love it. I even asked Gemini in hopes that it can filter out all the nonsensical arguments and focus on the real legitimate points. Even Gemini is like "Yeah, I know what you're talking about." It's like they know that they're entering a minefield.
Persona 3 FES is preferred over Reload by some for a mix of "design philosophy, atmosphere, artistic direction, and nostalgic game design." All of these are subjective. I don't see how any of these points are definitive slam dunks for recommending FES over Reload. I get preferring the melancholic decaying atmosphere of FES over the sleek vibrant atmosphere of Reload. What I don't get is justifying indirect party controls. That one just baffles me to no end.
I can tell you one definitive reason to recommend Reload over FES. You can only play Persona 3 FES on a PS2 emulator. You must download the emulator, set it up on your PC, download the BIOS, download the game ROM, set up a game controller, and then run the game. You can buy Reload on Steam and all the modern console platforms with a couple of clicks. Sorry FES elitists, but you will never win this debate when your game is stuck on a dead platform.
