On the alt because of menu music. NFS always used copyrighted music in the menus.
It's been years. The way the car controls is just awkward as all hell and the Speedbreaker ability doesn't really help out much. Because of that, it did make things difficult.
In the full game, there's indications for places you can drive into to destroy cop cars and there's hiding spots you can use aswell. In the demo? A small amount of those destruction spots still exist and work as intended, but none are indicated and there are no hiding spots. This actually makes the cop chases in this demo harder than the actual game.
The drag race took me a few attempts due to pedestrian car positioning, which is pretty much all intentional. It sucks. Ped cars always sucked.
