If you don't know how to add the custom effects to Movie Maker 2012, follow these instructions:
1. Locate where you installed Windows Live (usually in your Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder).
2. Move the "Effects" and "MovieMakerTemplates" folders from the zip folder to the Photo Gallery folder.

The original upload was capped at 1080p because I had set the upload quality in the YouTube app settings to 1080p (the default is Full Quality for those who dont know).
