A new game play through of the From Software title Demon's Souls (PS3). I'm not the best player in the world, so there will be plenty of deaths.
Since I've never done them before, and since I was at the end of the game, I decided to get Pure Black Character tendency and do the Mephistoles' quest chain (I got pure white CT from being a blue phantom a while ago). Rather than invade as a Black Phantom to lower my Character Tendency (and to avoid how hilariously bad I am in PvP), I freed Yurt, killed him (sometimes he pops back to the Nexus, sometimes he doesn't; for me, he didn't), then went to each world and killed the merchant there to lower my CT.
Except for the Old Woman in the Swamp (World 5). She must've gotten wind of my impending rampage and gotten the heck outta dodge.
Then it's just a matter of talking to ol' Mephi and beating the crap out of everyone.
Except, apparently, Ostrava. I don't know what happened with Ostrava. I guess you have to kill him in the Nexus instead of 1-4? And speaking of 1-4, I told myself I was going to return after killing the dragon, since I was bogged down with arrows to get the black phantom NPC drops.
Did I? Of course not. Stop thinking I know what I'm doing in this game.

I remember liking this game when it came out. Having gone through it again, Ive learned nostalgia is a filthy, filthy liar. Thats why Im on Easy, because anything higher wouldve ended with my destroying my 360, like it nearly destroyed my Xbox years ago.
Now were getting into what passes as plot for this game
Immersion! And some new enemies, the Stealth Tlan. Yeah, theyre highly visible stealthed Tlan, but just wait, soon theyll become complete pains in the neck.
