Souls has gained a bit of a reputation as a series, for being extremely difficult, but consistently fair when doing so. Demon's Souls is famous for starting it all. But at the same time, Demon's Souls hasn't gotten near the same amount of attention as Dark Souls and Bloodborne. After all this time, and now that the core design ideas that made the series so special are commonplace, does the originator of said design hold up as well as we remember? It's time to review!
