Demon City Shinjuku is an anime movie that comes with loads of nostalgia. Many of us weeaboomers can remember seeing it running on the Sci-Fi network. Directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, you'd go in with high expectations, the fighting is on point as is the late 80's/early 90's style and feel of the film. But does it hold up?
