This demonstration comes from the 2013 Black Hat presentation from IOActive security researchers, Lucas Apa and Carlos Penagos titled "Compromising Industrial Facilities from 40 Miles Away.

It shows what can happen to an industrial control facility once a hacker has targeted the temperature transmitter to make a chemical explode remotely.
