When I heard about this challenge, I decided to write a cute lovesong. That was the plan and I failed miserably. In the verse it already started out as a breakup song, then it turned sorta homicidal, then it turned to cannibalism.
It's about someone being in love and having an "If I can't have you, no one can" kinda attitude. The pre gives away that the victim is being eaten during dinner. The killer has this mindset "I know you're dead but we're finally together now, so so what".
I pulled inspiration for this from Riverdale as well as The end of the ... world, which I only realized when I was done writing.
I did have a cold when recording this but wanted to participate anyway.
Also I wanted to make it a creepy music video so: ketchup & candles
