We are Deltares, an independent, not-for-profit knowledge institute for applied research in the field of water and subsoil. Our aim is to ensure that deltas worldwide remain safe and pleasant places to live. We feel the urgency of this mission as we witness the effects of climate change, land subsidence, rising sea levels, spatial constraints, increasingly unpredictable weather, and declining biodiversity. Our diverse team of over 900 highly qualified professionals, representing over 60 nationalities, is dedicated to this mission.
