Originally scheduled to fly on DL5388 (a CRJ), I had the opportunity to give up my seat due to overbooking to take the next flight (DL1276) which I knew was a DC9. I was the first to the ticket agent to reschedule to the later flight. The DC9 I was about to board was N770NC, however due to mechanical issues with the nose-cone radar, they rescheduled us on N600TR which arrived from Greensboro NC (flight 2353). Our flight stayed as DL 1276.
