Imagine if Doc Brown made a time machine out of this futuristic 4×4. DeLorean is capitalizing on the sci-fi association established by the DMC-12’s starring role in Back to the Future with what the reinvigorated brand thinks the future’s off-roaders might look like.
The Houston-based company, now known officially has DeLorean Motors Reimagined, says very little about the so-called Omega 2040 Concept, other than its roots are in “Baja-themed off-road racing.” The philosophy behind the Omega marks “a complete departure from automotive design,” DeLorean says.
