For years, this DeLorean sat abandoned on the streets of Chicago — exposed to brutal winters, neglect, and time itself. Snow piled up, corrosion set in, and eventually the unthinkable happened: it was struck by a snow plow, leaving visible damage and pushing this once-iconic time machine to the brink of being lost forever.
Most would have written it off.
But this DeLorean didn’t run out of time.
Now, the car has been rescued and is in the hands of DeLorean Midwest, where its long road back begins. In this video, we take a first look at the damage, the effects of years of street parking and neglect, and what it will take to bring this stainless steel legend back to life.
