British poet Della Hicks-Wilson stuns with her debut collection of poems about self-healing, the movement from self-love to unconditional love, and the wisdom that comes when we truly work toward knowing ourselves.
"Small Cures" reminds anyone struggling with heartbreak, mental health, or trauma, that they are not alone. The collection brings together 150 poems into one interconnected narrative based on the different stages of an "illness"--diagnosis, treatment, cure. Hicks-Wilson vulnerably lays bare universal experiences of mental health and heartbreak with raw emotion, empathy, and honesty.
