The 10-meter band was absolutely wide open on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at US-10659 Augustine State Beach in Port Penn, Delaware!
I set up for a Parks On The Air (POTA) activation along the Delaware River, and what started as a standard outing turned into a massive DX pipeline straight into South America. When 10 meters is this hot, you don't walk away—you put RF in the air and document the proof.
In this video, you'll see the 8-bit ham radio adventures in full swing as I log contact after contact. While the 10m skip was the star of the show, I also put in work on 20 meters and 17 meters to ensure this activation was a total success. If you don’t get on the air, you will miss out on what is happening.
