Deku VS Miles Isn’t What You Think

Now when comparing Deku and Miles’ strength, I think a big thing to clear up firstly is if they’re at full power off the bat. Because both characters can suppress themselves to significant degrees. Deku quite literally for most of his series couldn’t use 100% consistently, and so he had to converge his power into small percentages. And Miles like Deku can’t really control his electricity all that consistently, which usually makes him hold back from using it. Miles as well just… loses a lot of the fights he participates in . He kinda has a Genos effect where he loses most of the fights he partakes in. In his first fight with Scorpion it does not really go well for him he gets yeeted out of the panel and no sells a venom blast. Miles quite literally asks him to give up at one point before they get interrupted. He loses to the rhino when they fight and he just straight up gets overpowered and has to rely on his electricity to win. Against tombstone he also gets washed pretty badly as well. Miles physically is really not all that worthy of noting, as he’s usually depicted as a weaker Peter Parker is base to base strength. He usually has to rely on his electricity powers to overpower his opponents, but with his electricity he can put down some pretty powerful foes. With his lightning he was able to stagger Gao who casually just snapped Deadpool’s neck with no effort, and he was taking down Wind Demi Gods. This should be more than enough to upscale Miles from feats Deadpool has performed himself, like surviving a nuclear missile. Quite literally Miles can go from losing to Rhino to fighting Blackheart. For those of you not aware Blackheart is the son of Mephisto and he’s someone who’s fought heavy hitters within the marvel universe, as well as solo the damn Avengers. To be fair this was offscreen and we don’t know what happened but this is still pretty ridiculous to note. Miles comparably takes down Blackheart in a similar fashion to Blackbolt when he was enraged, who we know can destroy the very world with his blasts. I feel this is really the biggest reach you can make for Miles, because you’re already assuming Black Bolt and Miles are relative due to one shotting a villain in a comparable fashion. This is pretty much the same reach Boros fans make to say he’s relative to Initial Cosmic Garou. Obviously I don’t think Miles is planetary, especially with what’s consistently shown. So at best I’d say Miles is like City or Mountain or can hurt opponents on these levels consistently. Now that we know where Miles is at, we can see where Deku finally stacks up in comparison at full power which uhh… yeah this is just simply not a contest. While Miles is maybe Mountain Level with him having wishy washy planetary scaling, Deku at full power just straights up alters the weather across the entire globe. That's impossible, that means he’s traveling around earth multiple times. When powerscalers say he’s “light speed” they mainly mean their combat and reaction speeds, not their actual movement speed. + Miles mainly does this through spider sense and precog and Deku has pre cog as well anyway. Now we can move onto the last category, which being Hax. Hax I fear is also pretty close as they both have a unique arsenal respectively. Pretty random but anyway. Deku, like Miles, has some pretty versatile abilities, he can predict and analyze an opponent’s moves pretty quickly, he has access to powers like Black Whip, Flight, an ability that’s called danger sense that allows him to sense hostility and bloodlust, kinda like spider sense. Saying Miles is on this level is already a reach on its own while Deku just straights up alters the weather at his absolute peak of power. Realistically Miles isn’t that much faster than Deku and hits significantly less harder, meaning it’s only a matter of time before Deku is able to read his movements, and hit him with a devastating blow that would give him the win. Again, if you want to say Miles is planetary and immeasurable because he scales to Peter and characters who can move beyond time and destroy worlds… then yeah he beats Deku. However we do not glaze on this channel and actually look at stuff with context. And before anyone even tries to bring up spider verse, the entire run time of the spider Chase scene he’s getting his ass beat and does 0 damage to Miguel. He doesn’t scale to the comics and is a significantly weaker version of the character, arguably even the weakest. Miles stands no chance against Deku but they’re going to need work together if they want to destroy their strongest enemy yet…. The MHA fandom.
