I'm hearing a lot of people talk about the Deity S-mic 2, so I finally tested one against my Sennheiser MKH-416. To my surprise, and as you can see in the video, you can only tell the two apart in VERY controlled conditions. In practical use (such as out on the field), they are virtually identical in sound and build quality, and are incredibly different in price.
