Taherah Mafi's Defy Me recently came out, and I just had to review it! I absolutely love the Shatter Me series and I really just wanted to share my thoughts with people who feel the same :).

R A T I N G S Y S T E M:

★☆☆☆☆ This book was an absolute disaster, and I would never recommend it in a thousand years.

★★☆☆☆ This book would also never be recommended however, there are a few aspects that save the book.

★★★☆☆ Not a bad rating! Typically means that I didn't love or hate this book. Depending on the person, I would recommend. Sometimes there are even instances when I did enjoy the novel, but major issues affected the rating.

★★★★☆ I adored this book! Most likely is only four stars for very very very minor issues that don't truly affect the quality of the book at all.

★★★★★ This book ripped me in half, spit on my face, then proceeded to step on my neck. I either cried on my bed afterward or paced/ranted around the house till all the feels were out.
