This is mostly an exploration of cc’s and Michael’s dynamic. Definitely not cannon. I portray it as an @bǔşǐvè relationship between siblings (sibling abũşê is a thing).
It may not seem @bùșïve but this happens in a consistent basis. Michael physically hurts and mentally berates cc over and over again. He may feel guilt, but he never improves or becomes a better brother. Even after he feels guilty, he WILL do it again (making this a bad sibling relationship).
Also the title ‘defend yourself,’ can be a bit confusing,since it’s only mentioned once and cc doesn’t even think about it. There are reasons and there is a meaning to it, but I’ll have you guys interpret it how you wish.
