So these mushrooms absorb most of his attacks.

Also I am constantly picking them up and re-equipping them because he can destroy them. I also used the sneaking suit because it reduces damage.

Also worth noting if you don't have them in your inventory when he reaches half-health they will disappear.

Idk I'm just trying to get my platinum trophy. Hope that helps anyone out there struggling with extreme. Be sure to look up the air-walk glitch too!
