Unfortunately getting lost in the age of industrialized, generalized first-person-shooters and stream-lined creativity.
The original Doom (1993) music was conceived solely by basic compositional techniques, part of classical western music. Depending on the basics of melody, harmony, rhythm.
Still it was able to conceive a range of emotions, ranging from: Adrenaline-driving, crushing, up-beat, melancholy and fearful!
I have been compelled into the state of reliving that feeling over and over.
Spellbound by that trusted, familar feeling.
