This is a tutorial/demonstration of how you can create a 3D version of a photo, using DeepSketch on the iPad. DeepSketch is an iPad app that lets you draw 3D drawing, straight on your iPad! You need a pair of colored 3D glasses to see the 3D effect. In this video Im using the commonly available Red/Cyan glasses, and DeepSketch also supports Red/Blue, Red/Green and Magenta/Green glasses.
In the video I import a photo, adjusts the opacity so it's fairly transparent, and then paint on top of the photo in the 3D layer. I adjust my depth so that the different features and body parts are closer and further apart, creating a 3D effect.
With DeepSketch you can create your own, amazing 3D sketches from scratch or by tracing some photo or art. You can even use the 2D layer as a pencil sketchbook that is fast and easy to use and makes your doodles look great!
