Deep Dive event 2-4 clear video with zero commentaries.
DD 2-4 is the event's first night time boss battle stage with a twist of hostage rescue, and perhaps the most frustrating stage in the entire event.
First real challenging stage in Deep Dive and arguably the most RNG heavy of all, you are tasked to rescue a hostage through a helipad on either Northern or South end of the field before time runs out.
What's the catch? Your path to the objective is crawling with enemies, including: black bombs, red bombs, and multiple roaming bosses. On top of that, you can't just blitz through enemy territory otherwise capturing a hostile helipad with just one squad is impossible. Oh and you're very likely running out of ammo at one point so do try to grab one of those supply crates. The upside is that the boss itself is actually pretty easy to kill.
The key is to stay away from red bombs and always have someone else blocking them from approaching you. This could be achieved by intentionally running into a tile surrounded by enemies so that they ram into you instead of red bombs or positioning your squad so that something else is getting in its way.
DD 2-4 is ironically used to farm Deep Dive event loot crates for chapter 2 due to the abundance of black bombs. Lucky users may end up getting a UMP exo from here as well.
Due to the heavy RNG involvement in spawning enemies (if you see the entire field on underseaworld, you'll just see a blank canvas waiting to be filled when you begin the stage), your experience will almost always vary when you are playing here. I've opted to cover only one of the possible routes in this video otherwise its length will easily inflate at least ten fold.
Stay tuned for my later blog post that shows you many different routes.
