Halloween (1978) spawned one of the biggest horror franchises and, with 12 sequels to date and four or five different timelines, depending on how you count them. The quality and success of the sequels have varied widely. Some have been a delectable treat... others a detestable trick. In this episode of Deep Cuts, we deconstruct the Halloween franchise to figure out why we can’t get a sequel to stick, and instead keep rebooting and rewriting the story.
