Many people in churches today think that decreeing and declaring what they want to see happen is some for of prayer. It's not. Prayer has nothing to do with decreeing or declaring. We are not taught in scripture the decree and declare. Prayer is about seeking God, petitioning God and beseeching God. Most Pentecostal preachers and teachers don't pray, the decree and declare and call it prayer. Often it leads people to lie about whats really going on in their life. Not only that but it often leads to false prophecy. We need to be careful that we don't get caught up in this silly practice of decreeing and declaring.
