Welcome back to Episode 3 of my Halloween Album Series! 🎃 We built the foundation, added interactive pages and pockets, and now it's time to start decorating our Halloween album with tags and inserts!
In this video, I'm sharing ideas for creating and adding tags, inserts, and decorative paper elements throughout the album. These are the pieces that begin filling all of those pockets, belly bands, envelopes, and interactive areas we created in the previous episode—and they're such a fun way to add layers, color, and personality to a handmade album.
One of my favorite things about this project is that there really aren't any rules! You can mix patterned papers, printed pieces, vintage-inspired elements, scraps, and other supplies you already have to create tags and inserts that coordinate with your own album.
And we're still not finished! I'll continue adding more details and embellishments in the upcoming episodes before we eventually put everything together for a final flip-through of our completed Halloween album.
Whether you're making a Halloween album, journal, scrapbook, memory book, or junk journal, I hope these ideas inspire you to pull out your paper stash and create some fun inserts of your own!
