This is a concept I had heard about before but didn't actually sit down to DO until this year, when I saw the post from Ally being shared. This video is a bit of a ramble, just talking about how I've been going about this so far, and sharing a few of the interesting things I've learned about some authors so far. I'm definitely not done doing this! I have many more books, many more authors to look up! And after I finish looking at mine, I'll add in my partner's books and start reading more works by non-white writers! I'm not really buying any new books right now, so Ally's advice about buying at least one book by BIPOC authors for every book we buy by a white author doesn't apply as much, so I'm focusing on what I already have and seeking to read different things.
