This is a cover of Ghost Rule by DECO*27, using both Blair from Miles.eps and myself.


What better time to upload this than my birthday? I figured since it's a special occasion, a special video would fit well.
This has been a 2-week-long project, and although it may not seem like that on the outside, the amount of technical effort I put into this project honestly drained me, but I'm very satisfied with the end product.

So, what's up with the vocals? Well, because I have a terrible singing voice and because attempting to make Blair's American accent voice try and sing Japanese lyrics, as well as having to tune every single voice clip (since I usually have to export each word individually to get the timing right), as you can see, would take ages. Because of this, I decided it would be easier (and a bit more creative) to use the FNF-style chromatic scales I made for both Blair and myself, and then tune those vocals to match the vowels of the Japanese lyrics. So yeah. Just think of/read the Japanese vocals for the song while listening if you're confused. It should make sense eventually.

Finally, the video was created mostly in Unity. I say mostly because some of it (such as the end credits, the text overlay on the intro, etc.) was done in post-production. Speaking of which, that was an absolute hell to go through. I had to constantly re-export the video in Adobe Premiere due to the configurations I'd set, leaving the video in a pixelated mess. And yeah, this wasn't done in my usual editing software (Hitfilm Express), which is also why this project took so damn long. Hitfilm made the video look like a 144p iOS mpeg video.
