FAQ: What was the hardest part of your decluttering journey? Did you have a hard time parting with things?
I'm not generally one to worry about what other people think, but when it came to decluttering our house, I had alot of concerns. Would people think I'm a bad mom because our kids have so few toys? Would they be mad that I'd donated things that they had given me? Would they think I had lost my mind?
Mostly, this never happened.
Don't get me wrong, there have been some awkward moments over the years (like when the kids didn't have toys that they had received for gifts and the gift giver asked where they were and they replied "mom donated them!") but in the end, it has all been worth it.
