This was a one-hour discussion on the theme of “decentralized organizations” held via Zoom and broadcast on our Youtube channel. We discussed the possibilities for new forms of networked organization made possible by the next generation of web technologies, such as blockchains. We discussed the design and management of networked organizations, their key characteristics and how they differ from our more traditional centralized forms of organizing as well as the broader societal and economic implications of decentralized coordination. Speakers include Michael Zargham, CEO of BlockScience, Indy Johar Co-founder, Project 00 & Dark Matter labs, and Joss Colchester of Systems Innovation.
