Cut off the seat post of your decathlon Btwin Tilt 900 foldable bicycle to save 75 grams of weight. It is a straightforward job, and you only need 10 cm left in the seat post tubing of the frame. I used a Bacho metal saw to cut it off manually by hand. It took about 15 minutes to do the job. The next weight-saving effort will be to change the aluminum seat post to a carbon fiber seat post.
