Movie Prop Collectors was fortunate to attend the once in a lifetime Debbie Reynolds Collection Auction, held by Profiles in History at The Paley Center for Media, yesterday, Saturday, June 18th.
Right before the historic auction took place, Debbie Reynolds herself came upon stage and addressed her fans, who are also her friends, with a heartfelt message.
Miss Reynolds thanked her fans, daughter Carrie Fisher, granddaughter, Billie, as well as her son,Todd Fisher, Joe Maddalena from Profiles in History, and Phillip Hoffman, for all of their hard work setting up the beautiful display of her collection at The Paley. It was like she had the museum she always dreamed of for an amazing 2 weeks where the pubic could see her amazing collection at no charge.
