It’s been long since Hana made an appearance, so here you go.
[Hana is Nicole’s grandaunt (Daniel’s bloodline), the one before her who had the same condition, but didn’t develop an entity the way the blue feline did. Hana is non-canon and contributes to a lot of explanation within the story - which is why I recommend reading it if you’re curious!]

For those who aren’t familiar with either of the three books, Claws of Rage is a fanfiction book-series based on Ben Bocquelet's "The Amazing World of Gumball".
The books revolve around Nicole, the iconic short-tempered mother of the main character, in a different setting than what the cartoon is known for. In this alternate universe, Nicole is the last one to suffer from a monstrous condition, which simultaneously came forth in her bloodline. Some inspiration came from the canon episode "The Limit", where she shows her feral side.

STORY:
After Shira got possessed by Cyomareth, a ghost demon, she turned into a corrupted killing machine who can’t feel any empathy or grief. Cyomareth made her serve the underworld and she started getting orders from an anonymous alpha demon to destroy alive targets. She was aware of her curse though and managed to keep it a secret for a while. Until she killed Zakuro’s little brother, Tayi, in front of her own eyes. Zakuro was enraged and heartbroken and tried to attack Shira. But her mechanical system wasn’t strong enough at that time and she got heavily beaten up. Zakuro managed to escape from Shira and retrieved to her cult to get her broken parts repaired. Now… she wants nothing but revenge…
