Melt a face, slap a bass or kiss a drum in this RPG about three idiot musicians. Praised for its refreshing take on the JRPG genre.
Upon signing up to a perfectly normal battle of the bands contest for a bit of fun, Faye, Ian and Briff are cursed with an unusual power and find themselves sealed to a horrible fate. Surely there's a way to get out of it, there has to be! Even if it means... *shudder* working together.
Gameplay features:
- 15-20 hours of game time
- Kick down every single door you come across
- 100+ skills, 50+ accessories and 9 classes to customize the band with, each with their own special outfit
- Outfit choices are reflected in ALL dialogue portraits and cutscenes
- Excessive amounts of hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation
- Inventive battle system that combines real-time and turn-based gameplay
- Rich soundtrack spanning a wide variety of genres
- Highly praised writing and humour
- Memorable dungeons - From traversing the hair of a giant tree lady to crowdsurfing through an entire arena
- Item system that says GOOD RIDDANCE to tedious inventory management
