This guy was giving me trouble at first - but I figured out that by keeping the Death Lord knocked down and killing him first I can minimize my casualties.
In the start you can see that I used invisibility to sneak up on him and teleport my group close in. The reasoning for this is that they would not have to waste turns walking to him after the Death Lord was knocked down.
