ok so basically im gonna summarize the story

leaffrost and willowsnap have three kids. sagekit, ivykit, and duokit. duokit is born with two faces and leaffrost rejects her. Willowsnap keeps giving willowsnap the benefit of the doubt and thinks leaffrost will come to love duokit. this doesnt happen and he confronts her about it. leaffrost leaves him because she thinks hes being stupid.
duokit witnesses her parents arguing and willowsnap notices this. he tells her everythings alright and they go back to sleep.
timeskip to Duoheart being appointed deputy after the old one dies. Duoheart does very well at her job. A few days later, Duohearts boyfriend Thrushleap is telling her to come to the medicine den. Duoheart sees Breezestar (her aunt) dead, and Willowsnap dying, both from greencough. cut to Duoheart going to the moonpool to get her nine lives. Duoheart sees Willowsnap and runs up to him and hugs him. he gives her her ninth life and she wakes up back at the moonpool
