Dear Catholics! Praying to Mary goes against the 10 commandments and is idolatry (Exodus 20:4-5). Our prayers are TO God (Matthew 6:9, John 14:14, Romans 8:26) not Mary or anyone else, and Jesus is the mediator between God and mankind (1 Timothy 2:5). The Bible teaches against praying to Mary, or praying to saints or angels. Praying FOR someone is different than praying TO someone. Repent and believe what the Word of God teaches and not the traditions of the Catholic Church or others who teach these unbiblical practices.
Here is what Exodus 20:4-5 teaches: “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me.”
Trust in God and pray to God, not Mary or any other idols from traditions of men. Lord bless you.
