Caught this by accident after a cosplay event at SMX (the Ozine Festival). This Deadpool cosplayer was jamming away in Guitar Hero when I dropped by the arcade after the cosplay event (and mind you, I myself was cosplaying Kaito at the time).

Cover of Philip Oakeys Together in Electric Dreams performed by Gakupo Kamui with Gumi Whisper on backing vocals. One of my other favorite hits from the 80s. A bit of a surprise project while sifting through all the midi files I downloaded, and after experimentation, I realized Gakupo had the right voice for this song (I was considering Kiyoteru Hiyama again, but his voice just wasnt suitable).
Unfortunately I cant locate the site I downloaded the midi file used for the background music :X (while there are sites that have a midi file of the song, theyre not the same version)

Cover of Lionel Richies Hello as performed by Kaitos new English voicebank. My first project with Kaitos English voicebank. Compared to other English voicebanks (both natively English and those originally Japanese), Kaitos is surprisingly easy to work with (compared even to Avanna), and actually sounds like rather good English, almost to the point that little to no tweaking is needed. The only problem I have is his very limited emotion range - he sounds pretty much the same even if I max the Bright and Dynamic parameters, so he sorely needs say a Power voicebank to sound more forceful.

And also, I did more tinkering with the tuning paramters to get VY2s voice under better control (eg he has a tendency to accentuate his as, so they have to be suppressed a bit; I lowered the Dynamics settings in these parts).

Cover of Vonda Shepards Baby Dont You Break My Heart Slow as performed by Gumis English voicebank. This is my first project with Gumi English since I purchased her just a few hours ago. This time I took Avannas version, replaced the vocals, then edited the text and tuning. I quickly learned here how really weird her pronounciation rules and systems are - trying to concatenate several notes together so she would pronounce one syllable or vowel across them is tricky and requries special tinkering (otherwise she would pronounce each note like she was starting each vowel new from each breath!), quirks I didnt find with Avanna or even Luka Megurines English voicebank. And futhermore, Im not exactly pleased with her voice quality - this English variant clearly is pretty much modelled from Gumis Native voicebank, which is notable for being very husky, resulting in what I consider a very teeny and soft voice. I actually like her Power voicebank more, and I kinda wish Internet Co would develop another English Voicebank from that version. And lastly, even her English itself, though understandably accented thanks to Megumi Nakajima being Japanese, still to me has room for improvement, and I believe I could get better sounding Engrish from other Japanese vocaloids, including Gumis aformentioned Power voicebank (which I put to great effect in my other project here - http://youtu.be/YDEd_7wCukY ). Nevertheless not bad overall, and perhaps just needs even more tuning and tinkering.
